Holiday Party Plans at Wiseburn Library

Wiseburn Library welcomes Winter!

Bring your children to the library on Dec 4th to make ornaments to decorate the Wiseburn Library holiday tree. Traditionally, every ornament is hand made by a local child, and they will make ornaments to take home as well!

On December 11, come celebrate Wiseburn Library at the annual Library Holiday Party. The community is invited to bring wrapped gifts for the library and a child friendly food treat to share. Welcome gifts include Children’s books, Children’s DVDs, Music CDs, and any other items you feel the library needs. The wrapped gifts will be opened in a grand extravagance of unwrapping, performed with enthusiasm by the children at the party. Every child will receive a small wrapped gift to take home, a gift from the Library.

Giving gifts to the library is a Wiseburn tradition that goes back many years. As budget crunches come and go, the community has supported the library programs and collections with gracious gifts and volunteer efforts.

Please join us again this year, on December 13, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. for our annual Holiday Party.

Next General Meeting Date, time and details to be announced We need to kick-start the Neighborhood Watch and Block/zone disaster preparedness program. We at the HHA will commit to organizing, but we need people to participate. Be on the lookout for this on our next newsletter/general meeting coming soon. Stay tuned.
